About the Role:

As a Full-Time Ruby on Rails Developer, you will play a pivotal role in crafting innovative and robust web applications using the Ruby on Rails framework. You will work collaboratively with our team of passionate developers, designers, and DevOps engineers to bring our product vision to life.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain:
  • High-quality, secure, and scalable Ruby on Rails applications.
  • APIs and backend services that adhere to RESTful principles.
  • Test-driven development (TDD) practices throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Clean, maintainable, and well-documented code that adheres to our coding standards.
• Participate in all stages of the development process:
  • Requirements gathering, prototyping, design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
  • Agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum) and collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• Continuously learn and stay updated:
  • Explore and evaluate emerging technologies and trends in the Ruby on Rails ecosystem.
  • Actively contribute to the improvement of existing code and development practices.
  • Share knowledge and mentor less experienced developers.

Qualifications:

• Essential:
  • 3+ years of professional experience as a Ruby on Rails developer.
  • Strong proficiency in Ruby and the Ruby on Rails framework.
  • In-depth understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) principles.
  • Experience with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and database migrations.
  • Experience with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) to understand front-end/back-end integration.
  • Solid grasp of web development concepts (HTTP, RESTful APIs, security).
  • Experience with Git, version control systems, and continuous integration (CI) practices.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks.
  • A passion for learning and staying up-to-date with the latest technologies.
